Privacy Policy
Effective: May 12, 2026
This policy describes what information LandWorkPro collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. We've tried to keep this in plain English. If anything is unclear, email carson@landworkpro.comand we'll explain.
1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to LANDWORKPRO, LLC (“LandWorkPro,” “we,” “us”) and to information we collect when you visit our website, sign up for the waitlist, or use the LandWorkPro software once it launches.
2. What we collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with us.
Information you give us
- Waitlist signups: your name, email address, and trade selection.
- Account info (once the product launches): business name, business address, phone number, your role, and other operator-profile details.
- Job and bid data: customer names and contact details, property addresses, photos you upload, pricing inputs, notes, and the bids and invoices you generate inside the product. You control this data. You are the operator of record for your own customer data.
- Payment information: when you subscribe, billing details (cardholder name, card number, expiration, billing zip) are collected by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our own servers.
- Customer payments: when your customers pay through LandWorkPro, Stripe and our financing partners (such as Hearth and Wisetack) handle the payment flow directly with your customer. We receive metadata about the transaction (amount, status, customer email) but not full payment instruments.
- Support and feedback: emails, messages, and call recordings you choose to send us.
Information collected automatically
- Device and log data: IP address, browser type, OS version, pages viewed, referring URL, timestamps. We use this for security, debugging, and analytics.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see the cookies section below.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate the website, the waitlist, and the software product.
- Send you build updates, launch announcements, and feature updates you've opted into.
- Process subscription payments and your customers' payments.
- Send transactional SMS and email notifications related to bids, jobs, payments, and your account.
- Provide support, respond to inquiries, and improve the product based on your feedback.
- Build aggregated operator insights (state and regional averages, win rates, lead-source performance) using anonymized data that does not identify you or your customers.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described here:
- Service providers (data processors). Companies that help us run the service, under contract, including:
- Stripe — subscription billing and customer payment processing.
- Twilio — SMS, voice notifications, and phone verification.
- MailerLite — waitlist and email marketing.
- Vercel and supporting infrastructure providers — website and application hosting.
- Analytics, error monitoring, and customer-support tools we integrate, each under their own data processing agreements.
- Your authorized actions. When you send a bid to a customer, accept a financing path, or invite a crew member, the relevant party receives the information needed to complete that action.
- Legal compliance. If required by valid legal process — for example, a subpoena or court order — or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LandWorkPro, you, or others.
- Business transfers. If LandWorkPro is acquired, merged, or otherwise transferred, your information may move to the new owner, subject to this Privacy Policy or a successor one providing equivalent protection.
5. SMS and messaging program
LandWorkPro uses Twilio to send transactional messages related to your bids, jobs, payments, and account. When you opt in, you consent to receive these messages at the phone number you provide. Message frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier.
You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any LandWorkPro message. You can also adjust notification settings from within your account. Reply HELP for assistance, or email us at carson@landworkpro.com.
We do not share mobile phone numbers with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
6. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to:
- Remember preferences (like a closed banner or theme).
- Measure aggregate usage (pages viewed, time on page) so we can improve the site.
- Maintain your session once you're logged in to the app.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the product will not work correctly without session cookies.
7. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after to satisfy our legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations. Specifically:
- Waitlist contact info: until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
- Job and bid records: while your account is active, plus a reasonable archive period of up to seven (7) years for financial records (consistent with US tax retention norms).
